I don’t normally receive visions, but the Lord gave me one the other night. I was a white lamb with dirt covering my feet. Jesus was there and he started walking towards a shallow river. As the lamb I decided to follow Him. When we finished walking through the river I looked at my feet and they were clean. After I had looked at my feet and no longer saw dirt, the vision ended. I’ve been pondering over this vision for the past couple of days. As the lamb I had two choices, I could have stayed where I was with my dirty feet or I could have followed Jesus through the river. If I hadn’t followed Jesus I would have ended up walking the other direction which would have gotten more dirt on my feet. I had to trust that where the Lord was leading me was better than anywhere I could lead myself. Jesus knew I had dirt all over my feet and he still led me where he was going. I didn’t have to get rid of the dirt on my feet to follow him. You don’t have to be clean to follow Jesus, Jesus will make you clean when you follow him. When I started following Jesus I was far from clean. I was living a sinful life full of weed, alcohol, and sex, BUT Jesus still wanted me to follow him. He didn’t expect me to be perfect or become perfect before I took a step in His direction. As I bettered my relationship with the Lord I started becoming convicted of the way I was living and repenting for it. Now I can say that I no longer struggle with submitting to those sins. The Lord has washed me clean! If you were the lamb in this vision would you have followed the Lord or would you have walked away from Him. If you would have walked away because you don’t think you’re worthy enough to follow Him, He will make you worthy! Put your worth in Him and not in this world. No matter how much dirt is currently on your feet, Jesus wants you to take a step in his direction. If He can wash me clean, He can wash you clean too.
